Signage & Environmental Design

A cross-disciplinary project across the architecture, landscape architecture and graphic design studio at Ayers Saint Gross. The Chesapeake House travel plaza features large scale environmental graphics and contemporary signage that draws inspiration from the largest estuary in the country, the Chesapeake Bay. Nautical themes are expressed in natural hues with glassy transparency reminiscent of daylight and water. Designed while working at Ayers Saint Gross with photography by Tom Holdsworth.
