Guitar Wolf Zine

A collaboration with my friend and artist, Katy Hunchar.

She’d created a series of illustrations depicting the band Guitar Wolf that were inspired by an interview between writer T. Colin Dodd, and Seiji Wolf, the frontman of the band. Katy’s hope was to finally combine the words from the interview with the artwork she’d created in the form of a zine.

The design spreads are simply a vehicle for the incredible artwork and dynamic interview. Yellow and red colors contrast the black and white illustrations. Punchy typography convey’s Seiji’s unabashed demeanor pushing and pulling his lines, causing some to leap off the page.
